Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Everyday Mike is operated by Michael D Earles, which is the data controller for the personal information described here.

Information we collect

Account information. Email address and sign-in credentials (or Google sign-in), first name, the role you choose (athlete, parent or guardian, accountability partner), and for athletes an age or age range used to shape coaching language.

Performance information. Sports and seasons, season goals, your Performance System (who you are, how you reset, your three priorities), post-session reflections and check-ins, confidence ratings, Weekly Reset entries, 60-Second Mental Rep content, and season history.

Coach Mike interactions. The prompts and answers you send to Coach Mike and the responses generated for you.

Relationships. Parent or guardian and athlete connections and their approval status, accountability partner connections, and parent-side support notes and preferences.

Membership information. Subscription and entitlement status, plan, renewal or paid-through dates, and promo or complimentary access records.

Device and session information. Basic browser and device data, sign-in session data, error and diagnostic logs, and — if you enable them — push notification registrations.

Free preview. The public preview at /try stores your answers only in your own browser’s local storage for up to 24 hours. It is not sent to us unless you create an account.

How we use information

To create and secure accounts, provide the coaching features you use, generate Coach Mike responses, connect parents and athletes you approve, send the emails and notifications you have set up (including the weekly parent report), determine membership access, provide support, and keep the service safe and working. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in a secure and improving service, consent where you give it (such as notifications), and legal obligations.

Youth and minor users

Everyday Mike is designed for athletes ages 11–18 and expects a parent or guardian to be involved. We collect only what the coaching features need; we do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising. A parent or guardian may contact us to review or delete a connected athlete’s account information.

Parent and athlete privacy

An athlete’s private reflections are not automatically shown to parents. Connected parents receive a limited support view and summary experience, not the athlete’s raw private entries. Parent-side private support information is not automatically shown to athletes or to other parents. Accountability partners see only the limited items an athlete chooses to share, and never contact details. These boundaries are enforced in our database access rules.

Service providers

Supabase (database, authentication and storage, provided through Lovable Cloud); Lovable (application hosting, managed email delivery, and the AI gateway used to generate Coach Mike responses); Paddle (our Merchant of Record for payments, subscription management, tax and invoicing). Providers process data on our instructions. We may also share information with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.

Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Card and billing details are collected and stored by Paddle, not by Everyday Mike. We receive only subscription status information such as plan, state and renewal date.

Data retention

We keep account and performance information for as long as the account exists so athletes keep their history, including after a membership ends. Billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. When you ask us to delete an account, we delete or anonymise its personal information except where we must retain records by law.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected by authentication and row-level access rules that restrict each account to its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we use appropriate technical and organisational measures.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your information in the app, change notification settings, cancel a membership, and ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. Contact us and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and hold your free-preview answers. We do not use advertising cookies. Paddle may set cookies needed for checkout.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
